Cantina Aldeno is one of the oldest wine producer associations in the Trentino region. Located on the slopes of Monte Bondone in a place where, according to botanists, the “vitis vinifera silvestris”, the common grape, has always grown. The winery is very suited to the production of Trentodoc and is strongly rooted in working with individual wine growers and strengthened by the geo-climatic characteristics of the area, which have allowed this tradition to be passed down to today, from father to son.

This Trentodoc “Altinate” is named after a stretch of the ancient Roman road, near Aldeno, known as Claudia Augusta Altinate. It is a blanc de blanc wine, obtained entirely from organic Chardonnay grapes, grown on the hills surrounding Trento. Thirty months on the lees gives it the freshness and frankness typical of the Metodo Classico sparkling wines of the mountains. It has a distinct bouquet of fruit with notes of citrus fruits. On the palate, it is very dry and tangy, with excellent persistency and finesse.
