Cantina Mori Colli Zugna

The Cantina Mori Colli Zugna has been indulging in its passion for wine for many decades. Born out of the merger of two historic cooperatives, the company has vineyards that stretch from the Valle dell’Adige to Lake Garda, rising towards the slopes of Monte Baldo and towards the Val di Gresta. Areas that can reach 700 metres above sea level, caressed by the Ora wind from Garda and subject to the typical temperature variations of mountainous terrain, which creates the perfect microclimate for the cultivation of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir when combined with the volcanic terrain. These peculiarities of the terrain are captured within the two Trentodocs made by the winery, the “Terra di San Mauro” and the “Morus dal 1957”.

A Trentodoc blanc de blancs with an elegant, fresh and delicate bouquet, originating from high-altitude vineyards located on the Brentonico plateau. With its clear, fruity notes it is an excellent aperitif and ideal paired with delicate and fish dishes.

It is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes grown at 700 metres above sea level and partially aged in large oak barrels. Creamy foam with a fine, persistent perlage, Morus is the intriguing high-end Trentodoc produced by this winery based in Mori (near Lake Garda), from which it gets its ancient name.

The challenge of pure Pinot Nero. This grape variety grown at a high altitude gives rise to a Trentodoc Millesimato. After almost three years of aging on the lees, it achieves a delicate colour and an elegant full-bodied flavour, especially for the most refined palates. It is the ideal accompaniment to sophisticated lunches.
