Cantina Salizzoni

Cantina Salizzoni is situated in the historic centre of Calliano, in the heart of the Vallagarina valley, near Castel Beseno and the ancient fortresses of Rovereto. The wine cellar is housed in the old Palazzo Valentini, an 18th century aristocratic residence, where, in the late 19th century, “Valentini Champagne” was produced and where vinification and aging now take place. As of this year, production has been enhanced with Trentodoc, a Riserva, created to exalt the complexity, elegance and structure of sparkling wine from the mountains.

RHODIUM

Trentodoc Rhodium, the only Trentodoc wine produced by the winery, is the outcome of a skilful blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero from the hills. After a long period of 60 months on the lees, this wine expresses all its persistent flavour and excellent perlage. It is a “nature” wine, finely tuned by choice.

Trentodoc Millesimato Salizzoni Extra Brut is crafted from a cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. These mountain bubbles offer balance, character, and depth, combining complexity and freshness while highlighting the distinctive qualities of Trentino grapes. Elegant aromas of apricot, peach, and lime carry through to the palate, where structure and lingering persistence create a unique harmony.
