Cembra Cantina di Montagna is located at 700 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest wineries in Italy.
Founded in 1952, it now brings together around 300 members who cultivate 300 hectares of vineyards, fragmented into small plots often smaller than half a hectare. From vineyards set on steep slopes and porphyry soils, interwoven with traditional dry-stone walls, come unmistakable Trentodoc wines, with remarkable salinity, minerality, and persistence. In the wines of Cembra Cantina di Montagna, the unspoiled soul of a magnificent territory and the indomitable spirit of its winegrowers come alive in the glass.
Oro Rosso Dosaggio Zero Riserva
ORO ROSSO DOSAGGIO ZERO RISERVA
A deep and creamy Trentodoc, the result of a territorial vocation that has been able to shape the impervious slopes of the Cembra Valley into a natural painting of rare beauty. It is made from Chardonnay grapes cultivated in porphyry soils, the so-called Oro Rosso of the valley’s inhabitants, a rock that gives extraordinary sapidity, minerality and persistence. Luminous straw yellow color, the perlage is elegant and persistent. Notes of ripe yellow fruit and elegant hints of barley and pastry emerge on the nose.
Oro Rosso Blanc de Noirs
ORO ROSSO BLANC DE NOIRS
Trentodoc Oro Rosso Blanc de Noirs is an intense expression of Pinot Noir grown on the steep terraces of Val di Cembra, between 600 and 700 meters above sea level. Here, the vineyards take root in porphyry soils. The name of this Trentodoc comes precisely from this: porphyry is a volcanic rock capable of imparting sapidity, mineral tension, and great persistence to the wine, and in Trentino it is called “red gold.”
In the glass, this Trentodoc shows an elegant straw-yellow color with refined coppery reflections and a fine perlage. On the nose, notes of small red fruits and bread crust emerge, accompanied by a subtle mineral hint. On the palate, it reveals a vertical and intense character, with delicate fruity nuances, vibrant freshness, and lively acidity that prolong its gustatory depth.
