At 700m above sea level, Cembra cantina di montagna is the highest winery in Trentino. Founded in 1952 by just a handful of winegrowers, today it has around 400 members that harbour a passion for heroic viticulture on the steep, traditional terraces in the Valle. Cembra is nestled in the most important porphyry basin in Europe, a rock that lends the wines extraordinary persistence and flavour. A number of vine types have found their preferred environment within this unique landscape. These are chosen according to “zoning projects”, and recount the tradition and strength of the Trentino region in the aromas and flavours of the wines they produce.
Oro Rosso Dosaggio Zero Riserva
ORO ROSSO DOSAGGIO ZERO RISERVA
A deep and creamy Trentodoc, the result of a territorial vocation that has been able to shape the impervious slopes of the Cembra Valley into a natural painting of rare beauty. It is made from Chardonnay grapes cultivated in porphyry soils, the so-called Oro Rosso of the valley’s inhabitants, a rock that gives extraordinary sapidity, minerality and persistence. Luminous straw yellow color, the perlage is elegant and persistent. Notes of ripe yellow fruit and elegant hints of barley and pastry emerge on the nose.
