Trentodoc is not only a trademark, but also a project aimed at promoting the region in a very real sense. Behind noble wines there are often noble origins. The Cesarini Sforza family moved to the then Episcopal Principality of Trento around two centuries ago to run the city’s government. Since 1974 the winery has used selected grapes to make its high quality sparkling wines. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are cultivated at altitudes of between 350 and 650 metres in ideal conditions, in terms of location and exposure, to obtain the best quality produce. This is all done by following three tenets, expressed by the philosopher Cesarini Sforza: quality, image and culture.
