The Spagnolli Spumanti sparkling wine cellar is located in Covelo di Cimone, not far from Trento on the south-eastern slope of Monte Bondone, surrounded by vineyards dating back to 1978, a natural amphitheatre situated at an altitude of 600 metres. The owners are Professor Francesco Spagnolli, the former Principal of the Agricultural Institute in San Michele all’Adige, and his son Alvise. This soil, consisting of marl and calcareous clay, has given rise to Disìo, their first Trentodoc wine made from 100% Pinot Nero grapes.
Disìo Blanc de Noirs
DISÌO BLANC DE NOIRS
Trentodoc Disìo expresses its territory of origin and the climate where the sparkling wine cellar and its vineyards are located. They are cultivated up to 600 metres above sea level on the slopes of Cimone. Made of 100% Pinot Nero grapes and spending 40 months on the lees, its verticality can be detected on the palate, revealing the mineral substrates on which the vines grow, and the typical alpine climate with its extreme temperature fluctuations.
