Cantina Endrizzi Elio e F.lli

Azienda Agricola Endrizzi Elio & F.lli was established thanks to a family that had been cultivating the land with passion for generations and devotion, until in 1945 Francesco Endrizzi decided to grow his own grapes to offer a genuine end product of excellent quality. Today, the winery is run by his grandchildren Alfredo, Davide and Stefano. The new generations reflect the spirit that their grandfather had started: passion and devotion towards the land, grapes and wine. They have recently started to produce Trentodoc Basiliscus Brut, the result of a selection of their best Chardonnay grapes, a fresh and elegant sparkling wine that fully reflects the Trentino region. The name comes from one of the oldest local legends, the one that describes the epic clash between the knight Gottardo and the Basilisco, a legendary animal that terrorised the town of Mezzocorona during the Middle Ages.

The only Trentodoc produced by the Endrizzi family is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown using the traditional Trentino Pergola system. Aged on the lees for 36 months, this Brut features a fine and persistent perlage with delicate notes of crusty bread combined with floral and citrus scents. Basiliscus is a balanced sparkling wine from the mountains, perfect for an aperitif but also throughout a meal.
